漢語前置詞、(英語:preposition，前置詞,因為漢語介詞一般前置)，在語法里是一個用來表現一個字的文法功能的詞匯或字綴。一般用在代詞或名詞性質的短語前面，和這些詞合起來組成介詞結構，以表示處所、時間、狀態(tài)、方式、原因、目的、比較對象等的詞，去掉后原句意思改變。

1. back to back 背靠背，背對背
The children sat back to back so they couldn’t see each others’ drawings. 孩子們背靠背坐著，以免看見彼此的畫。
另外，該短語還可表示“接連地”“接二連三地”。如：
The team had to play three games back to back. 這個隊得接連打三場比賽。
2. eye to eye 看法完全一致，有相同的看法
該短語通常與動詞see連用，且主要用于否定句。如：
We didn’t exactly see eye to eye. 我們的觀點并非完全一致。

3. face to face 面對面

The two rival politicians were brought face to face in a TV interview. 那兩個對立的政客面對面地一起接受電視訪問。
若表示“與……面對面”，后接介詞with。如：

The burglar turned the corner and found himself face to face with a policeman. 盜賊一拐彎面對面地碰上個警察。
4. shoulder to shoulder 肩并肩
The route of the procession was lined with police officers standing shoulder to shoulder. 游行所經路線兩邊肩并肩站滿了警察。
We went on board and saw these people packed shoulder to shoulder on the decks. 我們上了船，看見這些人在甲板上肩挨著肩擠在一起。
該短語還引申指“同心協力地”。如：
We will need you and the chairman standing shoulder to shoulder on basic positions. 我們需要你和主席在一些基本立場上共同進退。
該短語也可用連字符連成一個詞。如：
They could fight shoulder-to-shoulder against a common enemy. 他們可以同心協力，對抗共同的敵人。
5. hand in hand 手拉手地
They walked along the cliff top hand in hand. 他們手拉手在懸崖上行進。
I saw them making their way, hand in hand, down the path. 我看到他們手拉手沿著小路往前走去。
該短語還引申指“密切相關地”“同時并進地”。如：
Hand in hand with the police inquiries the government has also announced a full investigation. 在警方調查的同時，政府也宣布要展開徹查。
