一般而言,香港的研究生入學(xué)申請(qǐng)是否需要面試,一般由委員會(huì)作出決定,然后送研究生院正式通知,即,對(duì)法學(xué)院而言,面試不是必須的程序。假設(shè)有面試,教師主要是想多了解一下情況,包括英語(yǔ)??偨Y(jié)一下我在港大申請(qǐng)時(shí)的面試經(jīng)驗(yàn),認(rèn)為以下幾點(diǎn)需要注意:
1、在線面試設(shè)備
香港大學(xué)的電面大多采用Skype面試,收到電面通知后,您首先要做的就是下載Skype,申請(qǐng)帳號(hào),熟悉操作方法。強(qiáng)烈建議與同學(xué)或朋友試著連接視頻,檢查使用功能、聲音、圖片等,避免設(shè)備或軟件的影響。
2、 在線面試環(huán)境
在線面試的的好處是位置靈活,不需要你大老遠(yuǎn)地跑到香港或者什么地方,但對(duì)于在線面試環(huán)境,還是要注意的。第一,面試時(shí)要保證處于安靜無(wú)干擾的環(huán)境中,如果在宿舍,要保證視頻輸入范圍不會(huì)太亂;第二,要保證網(wǎng)絡(luò)連接良好,我的建議是,如果學(xué)校網(wǎng)速不好,可以提前準(zhǔn)備好自己的手機(jī),在視頻卡上快速連接4G熱點(diǎn)。作為基本禮節(jié),這些小細(xì)節(jié)不會(huì)給你的面試加分,但如果有問(wèn)題,肯定會(huì)給你的面試減分。
3、儀容儀表
學(xué)校申請(qǐng)面試不需要像參加招聘面試一樣穿正裝。只要你穿得大方得體,干凈整潔,你就可以畫淡妝,這不僅增加了你的自信,也給面試官留下了良好的初步印象。
4、面試官
普通的面試官是一兩個(gè)人,面試官可能是你申請(qǐng)專業(yè)的Director,這個(gè)專業(yè)的老師,這個(gè)專業(yè)的PHD,RA,MPhil等,一般由Director老師負(fù)責(zé)。面試前,建議去學(xué)院的主頁(yè),調(diào)查相關(guān)專業(yè)的老師,負(fù)責(zé)人等,熟悉他們的工作和研究領(lǐng)域等,面試時(shí)為自己做準(zhǔn)備,避免緊張。
5、面試問(wèn)題
整個(gè)面試過(guò)程英文提問(wèn)英文回答,問(wèn)題分不同的專業(yè)不同,常見(jiàn)的問(wèn)題有:
—為何選擇香港?
-你為什么選擇這所學(xué)校?你還申請(qǐng)了其他學(xué)校嗎?
-難忘的經(jīng)歷/作業(yè)/團(tuán)隊(duì)項(xiàng)目/實(shí)習(xí)等。
—畢業(yè)論文是什么內(nèi)容??
-向面試官提問(wèn)等
在準(zhǔn)備面試的時(shí)候,可以多參考一些面試,尤其是同一個(gè)專業(yè)的。面試一般不會(huì)涉及太多的專業(yè)內(nèi)容,最多也就是請(qǐng)介紹一下你的畢業(yè)論文。強(qiáng)調(diào)一下,因?yàn)橛型瑢W(xué)是通過(guò)香港留學(xué)中介申請(qǐng)的,所以PS和CV都是中介負(fù)責(zé)的,面試前一定要熟悉自己的PS和CV!面試官問(wèn)PS細(xì)節(jié)不要迷茫。面試時(shí)可以把提前準(zhǔn)備好的答案和PS放在可見(jiàn)的地方,但最好不要被攝像頭拍進(jìn)去。
另外,面試時(shí)可以加入一些肢體語(yǔ)言,不時(shí)與面試官進(jìn)行眼神交流(看照相機(jī)),對(duì)于沒(méi)有準(zhǔn)備好的問(wèn)題可以適當(dāng)留出考慮時(shí)間,但是如果沉默太久肯定會(huì)減分。對(duì)口語(yǔ)不必過(guò)分擔(dān)心,但必須保證能聽(tīng)懂面試官的提問(wèn),準(zhǔn)確回答,準(zhǔn)備回答時(shí)不要過(guò)分追求一些華麗的詞匯,避免自己用詞不當(dāng)或想不起來(lái)。
