優(yōu)選答案托福成績(jī)只是錄取標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，不是獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
美國(guó)音樂(lè)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金有兩種。一種是由一些音樂(lè)基金會(huì)發(fā)的，通常是幾百到上千美元，發(fā)給在大賽中獲獎(jiǎng)的學(xué)生，不限年齡。這種獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金用來(lái)念音樂(lè)學(xué)院是遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠的。有些獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金可以高達(dá)幾千或上萬(wàn)美元，需要申請(qǐng)然后通過(guò)面試決定。這種獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金主要依靠面試，高中成績(jī)也重要，但不需要托福成績(jī)。比如下面這個(gè)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金只有500美元：
Ladies of the Podium Scholarship
The Ladies of the Podium scholarships are endowed for the Women Band Directors International by Betty Jo and Kathy Schmidt. Women who are studying band music education at the undergrad or graduate level are encouraged to apply for one of four $500 scholarships.
Scholarship deadline is December 1 of each year. Recipients will be notified by January 15. Scholarships are possibly renewable, but applicant must re-apply.

A brief, basic music theory exam is a component of the audition. You may want to review treble and bass clef note names, rhythmic values, time signatures, major and minor scales, and key signatures.
